The City Hotel - Dunfermline

The service was exceptional with parking on site.

There was a lot of food for breakfast, it was outstanding.

The executive double room offered ample space for a group, a bonus . Quick access to the bar area allowed for a nice evening relaxation after our day in the city.

Our initial impression took a hit when we discovered the room temperature was uncomfortably high, and it took a bit to sort out the radiator issue. The lack of basic supplies like toilet paper in the bathroom felt a bit off for a place of this standard. Upon returning to our room late at night, we found the bed made up without a bottom sheet, leaving us with no choice but to improvise with the top sheet, frustrating after a long day. The bedding, although fresh, sported some stains that were disappointing. While our friends had a smoother experience, it cast a shadow on our stay.

nicely refurbished room, very comfy bed, and modern bathroom. the staff were lovely friendly and pretty friendly and the location was magnificent.

The best classy hotel I ever visited before. Everything seemed great, clean. The location was brilliant, relatively close to a night club. The bar was lovely with amazing and approaching staff.

The atmosphere was lively, and the steak pie I devoured was great, though it could've used more gravy. The place is recently revamped, so it's got that fresh vibe going on! The clean rooms were a definite plus for winding down after a day out.

Breakfast was amazing, especially the full Scottish option! The room was spacious for our family and beautifully decorated. The relaxing atmosphere.

The live music in the bar created a fun atmosphere!

The parking situation was quite limited, making it difficult at times.

This hotel is perfect for me, providing free wi-fi, a bar/lounge area, and 24-hour reception, which I love. The staff were great, even helping me print tickets on my first stay. I recommend it!

Excellent location, friendly staff, delicious steak pie!

The city hotel has an excellent location right in the city center, very close to the bus station. We had a standard twin room that was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was really good and included in our stay, a great perk!

Good meals and staff, but room was noisy with poor lighting.

The food was really good, particularly the steak pie, rich and flavorful. The location was perfect for exploring the old quarters of dunfermline.

Couple's getaway, mostly solid

The staff were excellent, friendly too. It was one of those mornings where you just wanted a good coffee and a breakfast to start the day right and they delivered, you know?

It wasn't exactly inexpensive, but for what we got, it seemed acceptable.
